Visit Us

You and your family are welcome to visit the care home before you make any decision. Once we receive your interest, our Manager will carry out an assessment to make sure that Beech House can provide for all your needs.

When you arrive, we will allocate you a named carer to help you settle in. Your carer will get to know you, your interests and your needs, so we can ensure we are meeting them.

Each resident has a personalised care plan setting out the services and medical treatments they might require. Your care plan is regularly reviewed, and we welcome any feedback you may wish to give.

We are happy for you to bring personal belongings into the care home for your room, such as photographs and ornaments, or even furniture.

Visitors are always welcome at any time. Refreshments are freely available to visitors. You are able to go out with or visit family and friends whenever you like, so long as we know you are safe.

Testimonials

“My mum went into Beech house for three weeks of respite care and was so happy there that she has stayed as a resident. The care and attention given to her are second to none.”

“My father became a resident at Beech House a few weeks ago and has thrived in the care home. The environment is very pleasant and calming for him. All the staff are cheerful and extremely caring towards my father and have been very professional.”

“Management and staff are superb, absolutely first-rate. The manager is a joy and has such skill in choosing her staff - all are so patient, reassuring, comforting and smiley! The atmosphere at Beech House is one of calmness and first-rate care - I used to worry about my mum every day when she lived on her own but now she is safe, happy and so well looked after. I've been kept up to date with any changes needed in Mum's care and they look after all medical appointments, such as hearing and eye tests and doctor's visits. Meals are excellent - such skilled chefs - and activities are varied and fun. Ten out of ten for Beech house!”

“My mum was struggling living by herself at home. She has several falls and was not eating properly; she was getting more and more depressed by the day. After a long stay in the hospital, she agreed to try a care home. My sister and I visited several care homes that were depressing to visit, let alone live in. After we found Beech House, my mum's health and happiness have vastly improved, and she enjoys the company of all the staff and residents.”
